I painted the outside of the house today with slurry (primer). The ladder was a bit shakey so it was good to have my New Zealand friend with me. He is our house leader and is a great guy. He has very Aboriginal features. His name is Glen.

Putting the paint on our house today was rewarding. We were not able to complete the project. Everyone gave it their best effort, and the home owners can finish the rest. I ended up having a hand in almost every facet of the project, and I am satisfied with our effort. It was a lot more work than I had imagined!

I am receiving the blessings and gifts of the family we built for during the dedication ceremony. The experience was very moving with such love in their eyes. In giving, there is the greatest gift of receiving.
